Chapter 2 leaves the building and ends in a cliffhanger. The order is the same 28 Sep 2026 public report used for Chapter 1. Badge sentences that older summaries attached to the wrong scene are corrected below.
Steps
- After a recap, you wake on Floor 66 in a red-lit corridor.
- Descend the stairwell past floor numbers 66, 65, 64, 63, and 62.
- Take the staff-only elevator before its short timer ends.
- In a cluttered basement hallway, a voice behind a locked door says they will find a key. The lights go out and a SURVIVE phase starts in the dark.
- A man in a red shirt pulls you out and offers a car ride. He introduces himself as Splink, brother to Steak and Cruz. He confirms that vegetables set off Steak's transformation, and he doubts that Romy was really in the Chapter 1 room.
- At his parents' house he lets you look around, then shows you a guest bed in the basement.
- Sleeping in that stained bed starts a nightmare. Pick up a flashlight. The reported space has distorted hallways, a floating red egg portal, and doors hanging in a void. You then wake, and the objective points toward noises upstairs.
- The front door reveals Cruz, bandaged, in a cast, and on crutches. He and Splink reunite. A landline rings in the kitchen. An unknown caller says they know everyone is home, then the line dies.
- The group goes live from Steak's streaming office so viewers can hear them. Cruz recounts the carrot incident. The power cuts out.
- After rock-paper-scissors, you go to the second-floor fuse box and restore power.
- On the way downstairs, Steak stops you and says you freed a mimic that had posed as Romy. A distorted mimic dressed in pink leaps out and tackles him.
- A last RUN takes you through corridors and basement tunnels. Steak and the mimic corner you against a wall. The screen fades. The report says Chapter 2 shows complete, with a notice that 100,000 likes are needed for Chapter 3.
How you know it is done
The official badge Chapter 2 Completed reads: "What just happened?" The standoff is not resolved in the reported ending.
Nightmare badges are not the wake-up
The route includes waking up. The badges do not say that waking is the award.
| Badge | Official text | How to aim, without a fake count |
|---|---|---|
| Lost | Get too scared to explore in your nightmare | Turn back earlier in the flashlight section |
| Insane | Witness a lot in your nightmare | Stay and see more of the nightmare |
No room total or second count is published. Simply finishing the chapter is a different badge.
The car is a fork
During Splink's ride, pick one:
- Thank you pal — "Dont mess with Splink's car."
- Dont Mess With Me — "Mess with Splink's car."
One ride cannot satisfy both sentences. The text does not name the control that counts as messing with the car. Some older summaries placed Dont Mess With Me on a Chapter 1 fight. The badge sentence names the car, so this page follows the sentence.
Still unnamed rooms
Find and play the SteakFan12 DVD. Find and play The Prank DVD. Pet Sugar or Fendi once, or 25 times. Boop the seal's nose. None of those sentences include a room. Victim of a Another says to get caught by ??? . The ending identifies a mimic, but the badge itself keeps the question marks.
Return to Chapter 1 if you still need the key route. The like-goal limit is explained in Chapter 3 status.
