What is Cruz?
Cruz is named in the official description. At the start he sits in the lobby beside baby carrots and a toy blaster and explains that the food swap sent Steak over the edge. He points you to Room 67. Later the hallway elevator opens on him with the blaster. He speaks to the locked door, learns the key is in the bedroom, and is dragged away by Steak. In Chapter 2 he is at the parents' front door, bandaged, in a cast, and on crutches. He reunites with Splink and goes live from Steak's streaming office to retell the carrot incident. He is not a playable class and has no published stats.

How do you use Cruz?
Listen for the Room 67 direction and the bedroom-key line. His disappearance is the cue to take the nightstand key while Steak is distracted.
